Dr. Katie Richey was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and grew up in Prattville, Alabama.
She obtained her bachelor's degree in Organismal Biology from Auburn University in 2021 and her DVM from Auburn University in 2025. She loves working with both small and large animals, including dogs, cats, cows, and goats.
In her free time, she loves reading, traveling, interior design, and playing tennis. She has one cat named Poppy.
