Elizabeth B. Robinson, D.V.M.
Head Veterinarian
Dr. Robinson is a veterinarian with an emphasis in small animal medicine that has been with Oak View Animal Hospital since January, 2007. She became a partner in 2012.
A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Dr. Robinson says being a veterinarian is the perfect combination of her lifelong love of animals and the medical sciences. "What I enjoy most about my job is interacting with our clients and the feeling when you know you have truly made someone happy by helping their pet," she says. "Another great thing about my job is that I am constantly challenged and therefore able to learn something new every day, which makes me better at my job."
Dr. Robinson attended high school at Trinity Presbyterian School, and went on to enroll at the University of Alabama where she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry in 2000. Later that same year she entered Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating Cum Laude and earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She specializes in and enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but has a particular interest in feline medicine and ultrasound.
Dr. Robinson’s interest in the welfare of animals extends beyond the doors of Oak View Animal Hospital to include membership on the board of Hope 4 Paws. At home, she and her husband Reed - a General Contractor - have three daughters and a dog named Jenny, an English Pointer named Blue, and two domestic shorthair cats named Bob and Bessie.
When not working or spending time with her family, Dr. Robinson enjoys reading, cooking, working in her yard, and running.
